Outdoor:
• Completed his first hit in the pole vault (5.00m/16-4.75) at The Reveille Meet, where he was the third-place finisher.
• Placed sixth with a season-best 5.25m/17-2.75 mark in the pole vault at the National Relay Championships.
Indoor:
• Placed second in the pole vault with a 5.10m/16-8.75 mark at the Clemson Invitational.
• Also competed in the Houston Invitational and Texas Tech Shootout.
2017-18
Outdoor:
• Finished ninth at the Big 12 Championships in the pole vault and qualified for NCAA West Prelims
• Had a season-best of 5.11m/16-9.25 at the Michael Johnson Invitational
• Competed at the Texas Relays, Texas Invitational and National Relay Championships
Indoor:
• Placed 2nd in the pole vault at the Clemson Opener with a clearance of 5.10m (16-8.75)
• Finished 3rd in the pole vault at the Corky Classic with a mark of 5.12m (16-9.50)
• Posted indoor personal best with a height of 5.22m (17-1.50) to finish 4th at the Texas A&M Quadrangular
