2022-23 (Junior)
OUTDOOR: Was part of three collegiate records at the Texas Relays, breaking the 4x100 record (42.00), the 4x200 record (1:28.05) and the sprint medley relay record (3:36.10), while also running the anchor leg of the winning Sanya Richards Ross 4x400 relay that finished with a time of 3:32.27... Ran the third-fastest 400m time in Texas history (49.90) and eighth-fastest ever in NCAA history and also ran a PB in the 200 at 22.34 at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational... Ran the 100-meter dash in 11.32 seconds and the 200-meter in 22.47 at the Texas Invitational... Was the Big 12 400-meter Champion with her time of 50.58 and was part of the 4x100 winning team that set the CR at 41.89... Qualified for both the 400m and the 4x100 at the NCAA West Preliminaries... Set the Texas program record in the 400-meter at 49.20 while winning the NCAA 400m title and ran the third leg of the NCAA winning 4x100 relay that broke another CR in the prelims with a time of 41.55.
INDOOR: Began her indoor season at the Cardinal Classic as the second leg of the 4x400 relay that set the NCAA-leading time of 3:30.55, which also ranked as the No. 13 performance in Texas history... Ran the world-leading and Ireland National Record time in the 200m with a time of 22.52 and finished second in the 60m with a time of 7.20 at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invitational... Ran the world-lead and Texas program record 400 time at the NM Collegiate Classic with her time of 50.45...Was part of the winning 4x400 relay that broke the Texas program record with a time of 3:26.73 and won the 200 with a time of 22.68 at the Tiger Paw Invite... Was the Big 12 Indoor 400 Champion with a then-collegiate record time of 50.33 seconds - a Texas program record... Was the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships 400m runner-up with her time of 50.45 and ran the second leg of the 4x400 runner-up team that finished with a program record time of 3:25.67, earning two First Team All-American honors...
2021-22 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Competed in four relays at the Texas Relays, three of which won. The 4x100 relay set the sixth-fastest time ever in the NCAA with a time of 42.42 in the prelims, was part of the second-place sprint medley relay that broke a 34-year Texas record, ran the second leg of the winning 4x400 relay team that ran the second-fastest time in NCAA history and was part of the winning 4x200 relay team that broke both the Texas and Texas relays record... Finished second in the 200m with a personal-best time of 22.59 that puts her as the No. 5 performer in Texas history and helped the 4x100 relay win with a time of 42.82 that ranks as the third-fastest time in school history in the dual meet against Texas A&M... Finished second in the 200m with a time of 22.81 and 10th in the 100m with a time 11.37 at the Mt. SAC Relays... Recorded a wind-aided personal best in the 100m (11.27), ran the second leg of the NCAA leading time and Texas program record time in the 4x100 (42.37) and the second leg of the winning 4x400 (3:25.64) at the LSU Invitational… Ran a personal-best in her first open 400m of the season (50.70) to finish third at the Big 12 Championships and ran the second leg of the winning 4x100 relay, helping Texas win the Big 12 title… Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the 200m, 4x100 and 4x400… Ran the second leg of the 4x100 NCAA Champion team and was the runner-up in the 4x400m... Competed at the 2022 World Championships for Ireland in the 4x400 mixed relays and the 400m, finishing 9th in just her second-ever outdoor 400m race.
INDOOR: Opened the indoor season with a second-place finish in the women's 300m with the time of 36.87, which ranks as the fastest time by an Irish runner... Helped Texas to a second-place finish in the relay with a time of 3:36.18 at the Clemson Invitational... Finished third in the 400m at the Red Raider Open (52.61 seconds), which ranked as the fifth-fastest in the NCAA and helped Texas finish third in the 4x400 relay at 3:31.26, No. 3 on the TFRRS indoor list... Posted two top-15 NCAA times at the New Mexico Collegiate Invite in the 60m at 7.21 - becoming the No. 8 performer in Texas history - and a time of 22.85 in the 200m, now sitting as the No. 5 performer in Texas history... Ran the fifth-fastest 200m time in the NCAA at the Tiger Paw Invite at 22.87 to finish second and helped Texas finish second in the 4x400 relay with the second-fastest time in the NCAA at 3:28.05 seconds - also ranked No. 4 in program history... Finished third in the women's 400m dash with a time of 52.33 at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... Helped Texas finish as the Team Runner-Up at the NCAA Indoor Championships by finishing as the runner-up in the 4x400 relay, finished fourth in the 200m with a time of 22.88 and eighth in the 60m dash.
2020-21 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Helped the 4x400 relay finish second at the Texas Relays with a time of 3:28.10, a time just outside the top-20 fastest relay times in Texas history, finished second in the 4x100 relay with a time of 43.04 and ran the 200-meter dash in 23.27 seconds to finish sixth... Posted three top-three finishes at the dual meet against Texas A&M, including a first place finish in the 4x100 (43.87), second in the 4x400 relay (3:38.13) and third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.25 seconds... Helped Texas finish third in both relays, including the 10th-fastest time in the 4x100 relay (43.11 seconds) and finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.49 seconds... Posted two, sixth-place finishes at the Texas Invitational in the 100-meter dash (11.57) and the 200-meter dash (23.00w)... Helped the 4x100 team win gold at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 44.36 and won silver in both the 100-meter dash (11.31 in the prelims) and 200-meter dash (22.96 in the prelims, which marks Ireland's record time) with two personal-best times... Helped the 4xx100 relay advance to the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish at the West Regionals with a time of 43.01 and finished eighth in the 200-meter with a time of 23.03 to advance inn an individual event at NCAAs... Helped the 4x100 relay finish fifth at the NCAA Championships with a time of 43.20 seconds, which ranks as the 14th-fastest time in UT history, helped the 4x400-meter relay run a season-best time of 3:26.72, the eighth-fastest inn UT history and finished 11th overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.16 seconds.
INDOOR: Competed at the Wooo Pig Classic in the 200-meter and finished with a time of 24.46 seconds... Ran her fastest 60-meter dash time of the season at the Charlie Thomas Invitational at 7.49 seconds and helped the 4x400 relay finish third with a time of 3:42.36... Ran the 400-meter dash at the Tyson Invitational in 54.94 seconds... Finished sixth at the Big 12 Championships in the 400-meter dash with a personal-best time of 53.44 seconds and helped the relay team win the silver medal with a time of 3:32.90... Reached the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 4x400 relay and finished ninth with a time of 3:33.85.
International Competition: Came within .01 seconds of sweeping the 100-meter and 200-meter at the Irish National Championships... Ran a personal-best time of 11.29 in the 100m and finished second in a wind-aided 200-meter final (22.84).
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the national 200m indoor title in 2019 … European U18 200m champion in 2018 … won the European youth Olympic title in the 100m and 200m in 2019 … holds personal bests of 11.60 (100m), 23.52 (200m) and 7.35 (60m) entering her collegiate career.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Ade and Prince Adeleke … has one brother, Abdullahi, and one sister, Latifah … the first member of her family to attend The University of Texas … first-generation college student-athlete … began track and field in primary school … has family that lives in Texas.
