· posted her top finish of the season at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational, where she led Texas by tying for 26th place at 12-over par
· also posted a season-low round of 73 at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational
· helped Texas to a sixth-place finish at the Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational by tying for 31st place at 25-over par
AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06)
· posted a 79.56 per round average, fourth-best on the team
· overall scoring average of 238.7 per tournament, playing in nine out of 10 events in her first season
· was the 12th Longhorn in the program[apos]s history to record a 68 (second-best, single-round mark in UT history) ... carded a five-under round at the PING/ASU Invitational (3/31-4/2)
· led team in first two events of the season [T-44th at Mason Rudolph Women[apos]s Championship and T-25th at Lady Tar Heel Invitational]
· in her second collegiate competition, led Texas with a season-best tie for 25th (75-74-776, +10) at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational (10/7-9)
HIGH SCHOOL
· Reagan High School Player of the Year three consecutive years, 2002-2004
· was a four-time all-district and all-region selection and a two-time selection for all-state
· received the Acclaimed Athlete Reagan High School award 2001-2004
NATIONALLY
· an AJGA All-American in 2003 and 2004
· medalist at AJGA San Antonio Shootout in 2003 and placed in the top three in 2004
· medalist at AJGA TPC Louisiana in 2004
· was top three finisher at the Midland Junior and Horseshoe Bay AJGA in 2001

Born August 14, 1987, in Beaumont, Texas... full name is Caney Lynn Hines ... she is the youngest of Jane and Michael[apos]s two children ... her father, Mike, played football for Fort Hays State in 1971 and 1972 ... she is a communications major ... recipient of the 2007 UT Women[apos]s Athletics Pat Weis Endowed Presidential Scholarship ... named to the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Rolls.
