AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
- won Conference USA Newcomer of the Year following her performance at the championships (May 14, 2011)
- rowed most of the season in the first varsity eight boat, but also competed in the varsity four boat
- propelled the first varsity eight boat to a win at the Head of the Colorado with a time of 17:07 (Oct. 30, 2010)
- helped Texas[apos] first varsity eight boat to a victory (16:01.1) and paced the varsity fours boat to a first-place finish (17:33.0) at the Head of the Hooch ( Nov. 6, 2010)
- rowed the third varsity eight boat to a fourth-place finish (30:13.3) at the Heart of Texas (March 5, 2011)
- helped the first varsity eight boat finish undefeated at the Longhorn Invitational (March 18-20, 2011) against Louisville (7:15.1), Iowa (7:06.0), Wisconsin (7:09.7) and San Diego (7:02.6)
- propelled the first varsity eight boat to a 2-1 finish at the Virginia Invitational (April 16-17, 2011), where they defeated UCLA (7:16.7) and Clemson (6:45.6) but lost to Michigan State (7:40.1)
- lifted Texas[apos] first varsity eight boat to a win at the Big 12 Championship with a time of 6:55.9 (April 30, 2011)
- rowed the first varsity eight boat to a first-place finish (6:28.8) at the Conference USA Championship (May 14, 2011) helping Texas to the conference crown
INTERNATIONALLY
Won gold in the senior women[apos]s eight, under-23 women[apos]s eight, senior women[apos]s 4+ and the under-23 4+ at the 2010 Royal Canadian Henley ... earned Row Canada[apos]s 2010 Best Club Team honor with Jennifer VanderMaarel and her under-23 four[apos]s crew ... invited to the Under 23 Canadian National rowing camp in 2010 ... received an invitation to try out for the Under 23 Canadian lightweight pair in 2010.
BEFORE TEXAS
Excelled at Governor Simcoe Secondary School ... the Governor Simcoe Senior Oarswoman of the Year for 2009 and 2010 ... awarded St. Catharines Rowing Club Junior Oars woman in 2009 ... earned the Governor Simcoe All Around Athlete Award for 2009 ... captain for the volleyball team 2008-09 ... a winner at the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships in the junior lightweight in 2008 and 2009 and earned another victory in the senior B lightweight in 2010 ... placed first at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta placed in 2007 and 2010 in the Under 23 open 8 ... first in the U23 open four race at the 2010 Henley and first in the senior open eight and open four race ... an Ontario Scholar Award winner in 2009 ... member of the honor roll (2006-09) ... a member of the student council, photography club and ski and snowboard club.
