Kidder is in her second year with Texas Volleyball, joining the Longhorns in the fall of 2016.
A California native, Kidder brings years of coaching experience to the team, having coached various local clubs throughout her successful collegiate volleyball career at UCLA.
During her sophomore year, she was named to the All-Pacific 10 Conference honorable mention team. In 2011, she was recognized as the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA tournament after leading the Bruins to the national championship. She was also named a First Team All-American in 2011.
After her success as a Bruin, Kidder embarked on a professional career overseas. She settled in Puerto Rico, where she established herself as an elite young talent for the Valencias De Juncos club.
After her stint abroad, she was invited to the U.S. Women’s National Team, where she trained and played for several months before leaving for her second international experience in Italy.
In addition to her spot on the Longhorns coaching staff, Kidder is the Head Coach for the Austin Skyline Juniors.
