• notched 18 kills on .318 hitting to help Texas to a 3-1 win over No. 4 Hawaii at the Wahine Classic (Sept. 3)
• tallied 12 kills, zero errors and a .545 attack mark in UT[apos]s tournament-clinching sweep of No. 19 Saint Louis at the Wahine classic (Sept. 6)
• posted a kill/dig double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs in a sweep of No. 10 Iowa State, while adding a career-high five solo blocks (Sept. 18)
• registered 12 kills on .333 hitting and chipped in 14 digs to pace the Horns to a sweep of Kansas State (Oct. 2)

• opened the season with 13 kills on .333 hitting in a 3-0 sweep of No. 4 USC (8/29)

• hit a season-best .526 and recorded 13 kills in a 3-0 sweep of Houston (9/12)

• recorded a kill/dig double-double against No. 3 Penn State (8/24) in the first match of her collegiate career
• anchored the Texas attack at the Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational, totaling a team-high 30 kills on .377 hitting for the tournament
• hammered out a career-high 23 kills on .375 hitting to lead UT to a 3-1 victory over Pepperdine (9/7)
• earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors (9/17) after posting 6.83 kills per game and hitting at a .437 clip against No. 1 Nebraska (9/12) and Missouri (9/15)
• set a new career-high in hitting percentage at .583 and tied a career-high with 23 kills in a 3-0 win over Iowa State (9/19)

INTERNATIONAL
Teamed with Rachael Adams, Jennifer Doris and Sydney Yogi to lead the U.S. A2 Blue Team to the 2010 USA Volleyball Open National Championship ... competed with the U.S. Women[apos]s National Volleyball Training Team in the spring of 2008, spending the semester in Colorado Springs, Colo. ... helped Team USA to a 5-3 record in its exhibition tour of China (March 21-April 2, 2008) ... paced the U.S. to a fifth-place finish in the 2008 Pan American Cup in Mexicali and Tijuana, Mexico (May 30-June 7) ... teamed with Doris to help lead the 2006 USA Women[apos]s Junior National Team to a gold medal at the NORCECA Continental Women[apos]s Junior Championships in Monterrey, Mexico ... was the second-highest scorer on the USA Junior National team in the summer of 2006.

Full name is Juliann Christine Faucette ... born November 25, 1989 ... daughter of Chuck Faucette of Dallas, Texas and Carolyn Ryba of San Diego, Calif. ... has four sisters, Jenna (23), Javoni (15), Tomilyn (14) and Jade (13) ... her father was a four-year starter at linebacker for the University of Maryland football team (1983-86), helping the Terrapins to three straight Atlantic Coast Conference championships (1983-85) ... he played two seasons with the San Diego Chargers (1987-89) before starting his coaching career, which included a stint as assistant strength & conditioning coach at Texas (1999), a six-year tenure at SMU, a second stint at UT (2006-07) and his current post as assistant strength coach with the St. Louis Rams ... her mother competed for the University of Maryland gymnastics team for two years ... corporate communication major ... three-time Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll selection.
