Reily Buechler joins the Texas Volleyball coaching staff as a volunteer coach for the 2019 season.
Buechler, a 2018 UCLA Grad, played outside for four seasons for the Bruins. She totaled 1,562 kills, for 3.30 per set for her career. She added 922 career digs, and 189 total blocks.
In her senior season, Buechler earned All-Pac-12 First Team plaudits for the first time after receiving Honorable Mention nods in her first three years. She leads the Bruins with 3.40 kills per set and is third with 2.61 digs per set and 21 service aces, adding 0.46 blocks per set.
Following graduation from UCLA, Buechler worked as a sales rep for Oracle in San Diego, Calif., before deciding to get into the coaching realm.
