No. 4 Softball's remaining games at Kajikawa Classic cancelled

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The fourth-ranked Texas softball team's two games at the Kajikawa Classic scheduled for Saturday - tilts against Buffalo and No. 1 California - were cancelled after heavy rains continued to hamper field conditions and reek havoc with the tournament's schedule. With four of the team's five games already cancelled, Texas (3-0) has gone ahead and cancelled its game for Sunday against Syracuse and will head home to Austin one day early.
The Longhorns' next games are now scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 16, when the team will head down I-35 to Texas State and play a doubleheader against the Bobcats. The first game is set to start at 5 p.m. at Bobcat Field.
