• All-American outside hitter Bailey Webster is the reigning Big 12 Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 9-12) … Webster led the league in kills (4.86) and points (5.07) last week as the Longhorns collected wins over Texas Tech and Kansas … she also hit a combined .455 over the two matches … against the Red Raiders, she recorded 14 kills with just one error on 22 attempts for a .591 hitting percentage. … in Lawrence, Webster recorded 20 kills with only 3 errors for a .386 hitting mark.
• The Longhorns have eclipsed the .300 hitting percentage mark four times this season, including three times in their last five matches ... Texas hit a season-high .378 against Texas Tech (Oct. 9), .357 against UTEP (Aug. 31), .347 at LSU (Oct. 5) and .319 against Oklahoma (Sept. 28) ... in five Big 12 Conference matches, freshman Chiaka Ogbogu is leading the Horns' offensively at a clip of .408 (39-10-71), a mark that ranks third in the league.
