• In Wednesday's 3-1 win at Baylor, Texas saw career-high production from a quartet of underclassmen ... freshman setter Chloe Collins put up a season-high 46 assists, while fellow rookie Chiaka Ogbogu recorded 10 kills and hit .471 (10-2-17) in the match ... sophomore middle blocker Molly McCage added her own career-high 10 kills and 12.0 points and two-sport athlete Sara Hattis notched her own career bests with seven kills and six block assists.
• Freshman outside hitter Chiaka Ogbogu was tabbed the Big 12 Conference Rookie of the Week for matches played Sept. 23-29 ... • Texas was ranked No. 1 in the preseason AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll (Aug. 12) for the first time in program history ... through Week No. 5 of the 2013 season, the Longhorns have appeared in the Top 10 of the AVCA poll for 106 of the last 110 weeks ... Texas has been ranked in the AVCA Top 25 for 145 consecutive week, dating back to 2004.
