• Haley Eckerman won her 13th career Big 12 weekly award with Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording a season-high 25 kills last Saturday against Kansas … it also marked her eighth career award in the offensive category … Eckerman's 25 kills were the most in a four-set match by a Big 12 player this season … on Tuesday, Eckerman was tabbed the Sports Import/AVCA Player of the Week for the second time in her collegiate career.
• The Longhorns have begun Big 12 Conference action 11-0 three times under head coach Jerritt Elliott (2009, '12, '13) ... Texas is 56-2 in its last 58 Big 12 matches (since Oct. 6, 2010, with a 3-0 win over Colorado), including a 46-match home win streak in conference contests.
