Texas Head Coach Jerritt Elliott
On the win: I thought it was a good situation for us to be in. This is a tough gym and we were a little uncomfortable at first. We were still pressing a lot, trying to find our rhythm and making a lot of errors. After the break, we kind of calmed down and found our unit and groove and played a lot better.
On Haley Eckerman: This is her home state and I know she had a big crowd here tonight and she wanted to play extremely well. Her game is continually improving as the season goes along and it's great.
On Amy Neal: Amy is a big piece to our team and she continues to get better. The biggest thing for her is her confidence continues to grow and it's nice to see. Her shot selection is better and she's just managing her game. Our team is a very solid group when she is playing.
