• Texas is coming off a 3-1 road win at Iowa State on Sunday. Three players posted double-digit kills in the match, including junior Amy Neal and senior Haley Eckerman with 14 and sophomore Chiaka Ogbogu with 11. All players hit .250 or better. Neal also had 16 digs and Obogu also registered nine blocks.
• Texas has won 24 of its last 25 Big 12 Conference matches and currently holds a streak of 13-straight road conference wins.
• Seven different Longhorns have led the team in hitting percentage this year, while five have led in kills in 17 matches. Senior Haley Eckerman has led Texas in kills in the last three matches.
• Eckerman has posted double-digit kills in the last four matches and has led the Longhorns in kills in nine matches this year (including the last three). She also leads the team in service aces with 21and has at least one ace in 11 matches.
•Texas has outhit every one of its opponents this season. It has hit .300 or better in nine matches and .400 in three. It has held every opponent to under .200.
LAST MEETING
-On Oct. 9, 2014, Texas defeated Texas Tech, 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-19) in Gregory Gym.
-Senior Khat Bell led the Longhorns with 10 kills, while senior Haley Eckerman and sophomore Paulina Prieto Cerame added nine each. Prieto Cerame also led with five blocks and freshman Cat McCoy added 14 digs.
-As a team, Texas hit .316 on 43 kills to Texas Tech's .178 on 38 kills.
-Breeann David led the Red Raiders in kills with 13 and Jenna Allen added 11.
