• Texas is coming off a 3-0 win at TCU on Wednesday night. In the match, senior Haley Eckerman had one of her most effective nights, leading the team in kills with 13 and hitting percentage at .500. Sophomore Paulina Prieto Cerame was not far behind with 12 kills, hitting .346 and also leading in blocks with five. Junior Molly McCage and sophomore Chiaka Ogbogu also had five blocks.
• Prieto Cerame has 28 kills and 15 blocks in her last three matches, averaging 9.3 kills, 5.0 blocks and a .273 hitting percentage.
• Texas is 6-0 versus teams ranked in the Top 25 this year. Eckerman leads UT in kills and aces vs. ranked teams with 71 and 11. Ogbogu leads in hitting percentage, registering a .442 percentage vs. ranked teams, while McCage leads in blocks with 1.54/set.
• This will be the 21st matchup between Texas and Florida all-time, including a match in Gainesville on Sept. 6, 2014, where Texas won, 3-1 (25-16, 26-28, 25-17, 25-16). In that match, Ogbogu led the charge with 11 kills on a .625 hitting percentage and nine blocks. McCage also finished with nine blocks, while freshman Cat McCoy had 20 digs. As a team, Texas out-hit Florida, .315 to .139 and out-blocked the Gators, 16.0 to 5.0.
