• Texas is making its 10th NCAA Tournament National Semifinal appearance, its third-straight appearance and its sixth out of the last seven years...The Longhorns are 79-28 all-time in NCAA Tournament games (.738)...The last time Texas lost in the National Semifinals was in 2013 to Wisconsin in Seattle, Wash....This marks Texas' first appearance in Oklahoma City in the NCAA Tournament.
• The Longhorns have dropped one set in their first four tournament games...Texas defeated No. 7 North Carolina, 3-1 (25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 31-29) on Saturday to move to 27-2 on the season. Four UT players finished with double-digit kills, all hitting .200 or better. Senior Haley Eckerman led the Longhorns with 14 kills, senior Khat Bell had 12, junior Amy Neal finished with 11 and sophomore Chiaka Ogbogu added 10. Neal also posted 15 digs for Texas, while junior Molly McCage led with seven blocks.
