The Longhorns return to the state of Texas, but make a stop in Denton to take on North Texas in a doubleheader on Tuesday before heading back to Austin.
DENTON, Texas -- Texas Softball (14-13,0-0) returns to the Lonestar State and looks to put an end to its four-game losing streak when it takes on North Texas in a doubleheader in Denton on Tuesday beginning at 4:00 p.m. The second game between the Longhorns and Mean Green is scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m. Live stats and a westream will be provided for both games by clicking the links below. TEXAS VS. NORTH TEXAS
- Texas owns a 10-1 record in the all-time series with the Mean Green.
- The Longhorns have won the last three meetings, all of which were in Austin. UT swept last seasons series 2-0, as the Longhrns run-ruled the Mean Green on Feb. 8 by a score of 9-1 in six innings before coming away with a 5-4 victory two days later.
- North Texas' only win in the series came in the only game played in Denton between the two schools. The Mean Green beat Texas 1-0 back on March 16, 2010.
