Bradley was inducted into the Texas Track and Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame earlier this year and the USATF Officials Hall of Fame in 2007.
He had an extensive national and international resume. He served as an official in the 1984 and 1996 Olympic Games, the 1993 World University Games, the 1992 Goodwill Games, the 1974 USA vs. USSR Junior Meet, the 1980 USA vs. USSR Indoor Meet, 11 NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships, four NCAA Division-II Outdoor Championships, five NCAA D-I & D-II Indoor Championships, 4 NAIA Outdoor Championships, 10 USATF Outdoor and six USATF Indoor Championships, six U.S. Olympic Trials, seven USATF Junior National Outdoor Championships, and a variety of high school, college and all-comers meets around the state.
Bradley served as the 2012 Texas Relays Honorary Referee and was a meet referee at the UIL State Championships.
A graduate of Dallas Highland Park High School, Bradley competed under legendary UT coach Clyde Littlefield, competing in the mile and two-mile.
Bradley's funeral is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park United Methodist Church (3300 Mockingbird Lane) in Dallas.
