• Texas continued Big 12 play with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-16) win over Kansas State on Wednesday night in Manhattah, Kan. Senior Amy Neal posted her 16th match with double-digit kills with 13, also adding 10 digs. Three additional Longhorns finished with double-digit digs, including junior Nicole Dalton with 13, sophomore Cat McCoy with 11 and senior Kat Brooks with 10.
• The Longhorns welcome No. 7 Kansas into Gregory Gym for their highest-ranked Big 12 opponent since No. 2 Nebraska visited on October 27, 2010 (UT won, 3-1). All-time, Texas is 63-35 against ranked Big 12 opponents and 10-20 against Big 12 opponents ranked in the top 10.
• In 19 years of Big 12 Conference play, the Longhorns own a 295-74 (.799) mark in league action ... Texas' all-time Big 12 record ranks first among current conference members and second all-time to Nebraska's conference record (278-22, .927) ... during Head Coach Jerritt Elliott's 15-year tenure, Texas has posted a 221-48 (.822) record against Big 12 foes ... since 2011, the Longhorns have lost only three conference matches (won 65--.956). UT won outright conference crowns in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 and a share of the 2007 and 2008 crowns.
