• Texas is coming off a 3-0 win over Baylor on Wednesday night at home. Senior Amy Neal and junior Paulina Prieto Cerame led the Longhorns with 13 and 10 kills, while junior Nicole Dalton and sophomore Cat McCoy tallied 10 digs apiece. Senior Molly McCage led with five blocks, while Neal added three aces.
• The Longhorns will celebrate their three seniors, Kat Brooks, Molly McCage and Amy Neal on Saturday. The three players currently have the highest winning percentage in their three-plus years in Texas Volleyball history with a 106-12 record (.898). They are 59-3 in Big 12 matches (.952) and 14-2 in NCAA Tournament matches (.875). They have been to three NCAA Semifinals in three years (including a National Championship in 2012) and hope to become the second class in Texas Volleyball history to win four conference championships (2014).
• Texas is seeking its ninth and fifth-straight Big 12 Conference Championship on Saturday. If the Longhorns win, they can clinch a share of the Big 12 title. It would mark UT's 22nd conference championship all-time.
