• Texas is coming off a 3-0 win over West Virginia on Thursday night, where the Longhorns posted their second-best hitting percentage of the season at .488. Senior Amy Neal had her 14th-straight match in double-digit kills with 13 to lead Texas, while junior Paulina Prieto Cerame added 10. The top five leaders in kills for the match all finished with a .303 hitting percentage or higher, including senior Molly McCage, who had eight kills on eight attempts for a 1.00 hitting percentage.
• Texas' match at No. 10 Kansas marks the sixth ranked opponent the Longhorns have met this season, posting a 5-1 record in those matches, including a 1-0 mark on the road. The Jayhawks are the highest ranked opponent that the Jayhawks have met on the road this season (at No. 16 Arizona).
