Freshmen Greta Volker and Emilee Hoffman both shot 68s on the final day to complete the tournament in the top 10.

Post-Tournament Comments
Head Coach Ryan Murphy
On how the tournament went for the team: I thought it went pretty well for us. Today certainly was a great round of golf. We came out and did what we had to do to try to get back. We kind of dug ourselves a hole in round two, but the effort today was spectacular, spearheaded by two freshman shooting 68s, so I was very proud of that. And then just shooting 6-under today was a fantastic round.
On what the freshmen bring to the team: They bring a lot. They've brought great play certainly. Each of them has played well, the three that have played for me thus far. Greta and Emily are simply not afraid to go low and shoot low scores. There's a lot of offensive ability there. They make a lot of birdies. More importantly, they've brought a great energy to our team. They've really sparked our team. They bring great enthusiasm, great desire to be competitive and they have meshed well with the rest of the team and I couldn't be happier about that.
On what it's like play at home: It's a double-edged sword. You know the golf course really well because you play it on a regular basis so you have a built-in advantage. But you also assume a little more pressure, because you want to play well in front of your people. If you can manage the expectations and desire and pressure to play well here, and you are left with just the home course advantage, you'll play well. But it's certainly nice playing at your home golf course.
Freshman Emilee Hoffman
On how the week went: It was a good week. Another top-three finish for our team, which was great. We have a lot of momentum going into our last event and it has just been a great season so far.
On the fall season and how the team has progressed: As a freshman, the team has been so welcoming and Coach Murphy and Coach Golden have been great. Our team this year has had a really great season and we've definitely taken our game to the next level and we're ready to compete.
On playing at home for the first time: We had a lot of support this week and this is the first time that my parents could come watch me play, so it was really nice to have them there. It was just awesome to play our first home tournament.
Freshman Greta Volker
On playing at home for the first time: It was great. It felt good. There were a lot of people who came out to support us. I wanted to do better yesterday, but it was alright. Today was a good day and it was fun.
On the fall season: It's going really well. We're getting better and better. I'm excited to see what we will do in the spring season.
Junior Sophia Schubert
On how the tournament went: It went really well for the team. As a whole, we played really well. Two of the freshman shot 4-under today and that helped us tremendously. So it was pretty good.
On how the season is going so far: The fall is going great. We've won a tournament already. We're close to winning a couple more. I think it has really helped us grow for the spring season.
On the role the upperclassman are playing to help the freshman: It's a big role with four freshmen. They don't really know their way around quite yet, so we're there to show them and hopefully be good examples.
Senior Julia Beck
On playing in her last Betsy as a senior: I just wanted to enjoy it out there playing my last Betsy. Kate (Golden) was walking with me, so we just had fun and I tried to play as best as I could.
On advice she would give to freshmen: I think the atmosphere is perfect to thrive in and have fun and improve your golf game. They're playing great. They're just great players in general so I think they're off to a good start for freshmen.
On playing in front of her family: Awesome. I love having my family around. My grandparents came in, my great aunt and uncle, my uncle from Tennessee came- so it was just great to have everyone there supporting. It was pretty special to have so much support out there. I ended up finishing on 18 and I left my putt just barely short and I tapped it in and everybody clapped for me. I felt really special and I put my horns up and I got a little emotional there, but that was really cool.
