• The Horns are coming off sweeps over UTRGV and SMU at home to kick off the 2016 NCAA Tournament. Texas hit .400 combined in the matches, led by senior Paulina Prieto Cerame's 24 kills (.328), junior Ebony Nwanebu's 22 kills (.538), freshman Micaya White's 20 kills (.264) and sophomore Yaazie Bedart-Ghani's 17 kills (.727). Prieto Cerame and Bedart-Ghani led in blocks with five each, junior Cat McCoy led in digs with 27 (4.50/set) and senior Chloe Collins finished the weekend with 81 assists (13.50/set).
