Notes:
• Texas is coming off a 3-1 victory over No. 8 Kansas at home on Saturday. Junior Ebony Nwanebu and Micaya White both recorded 20+ kills in the match, Nwanebu finishing with 20, hitting .514 and White with 22, hitting .348. Senior Chloe Collins posted 52 assists, junior Cat McCoy finished with 17 assists and freshman Orie Agbaji had six blocks.
• White, Nwanebu and senior Paulina Prieto Cerame have led the Longhorns in kills in every match this season, all hitting .268 or better.
• Nwanebu was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, while White earned Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors on Sept. 26. Nwanebu hit a combined .476 for the week in UT's two wins over the week, including a .514 mark against No. 8 Kansas on Saturday. She posted 33 total kills on 63 swings with only three errors in the two matches. White ranked third in the league in kills per set (5.00) and points per set (5.38) over the week. She had 18 kills at West Virginia and followed with 22 versus Kansas with a combined .302 hitting percentage. She also added 17 digs and six blocks in the match. The award marks White's third in four weeks, becoming the fourth player to earn the award three or more times in a season.
• Texas holds a 307-75 (.804) Big 12 record all-time and a 152-10 (.938) mark since 2007. The Longhorns' last Big 12 loss came on October 28, 2015 when they fell at TCU. Since then, they have won nine-straight.
