Notes:
• No. 3 Texas is coming off a 3-2 defeat of Kansas State on Wednesday night in Manhattan, Kan. Micaya White led the Longhorns in kills with 17 (.220), freshman Lexi Sun added 16 (.222), freshman Ashley Shook finished with 55 assists, senior Cat McCoy led with 25 digs, and senior Chiaka Ogbogu posted 11 blocks.
• McCoy became Texas' all-time digs leader with 1,639 to pass Longhorn Demetria Sance's mark of 1,614 set in 1998. Ogbogu is also closing in on a career mark with 452 block assists, just eight shy of passing Molly McCage (2012-16)'s all-time record of 459. She currently sits in fourth place on the all-time total blocks list, seven away from third place and 41 away from the top spot.
• The Longhorns are ranked statistically amongst the Big 12's top teams in both offense and defense, leading the conference in hitting percentage (.311) and being ranked second for opponent hitting percentage (.171) while leading in blocks (3.08/set).
• Texas is the only team hitting above .300 in conference play (.311) and averaging fewer than 4.00 errors/set (3.57) on the fewest total attacks (1243).
• Texas leads the Big 12 for the number of players in the conference's top ten for hitting percentage and is tied for the lead in the top ten blocks list.
• Texas is coming off of a third-consecutive attendance of above 3,900 at Gregory Gym, with the last match against West Virginia being the second-highest attended match on the season.
• Attendance at Gregory Gym ranks eighth nationally and leads the Big 12. Amongst teams ranked both in the top ten and in the top 10 for attendance, Texas ranks third in attendance percentage.
