12.20.2017 | Women's Basketball
Mezzanine tickets still available for Jan. 15 match-up between No. 8 Texas vs the No. 1 Huskies
Women's Basketball looks to sell out the Frank Erwin Center when the No. 8 Longhorns host No. 1 UConn on January 15. The nationally televised (ESPN2) Martin Luther King, Jr. Day game will also include the celebration of Texas Traditions. In addition to free t-shirts on all arena level seats, fans can take photos with Smokey the Cannon and Bevo XV on the north plaza prior to tipoff. Alpha Phi Omega will present the Texas Flag on-court during pregame, and at halftime the world-famous Red Panda will perform.
A sell out of the Frank Erwin Center - 16,540 capacity - would break Texas Women's Basketball's all-time attendance record (14,413) set January 22, 1988 versus Mississippi. Arena level seats are sold out, and general admission Mezzanine tickets are now on sale for just $11 each.
Mezzanine seats are going fast on a first-come, first-served basis by sections beginning at midcourt. Ticket prices will be discounted as available sections become further from midcourt. Discounted pricing for mezzanine level tickets leading up to gameday are outlined below:
Today: $11 (midcourt)
December 25: $9 (corners)
January 1: $7 (corners and court ends)
January 11: $5 (behind baskets)
Fans can also #DefendtheDrum by purchasing group tickets. Group discounts for 15 or more are available at $7 per ticket.
