• Texas won its 20th-straight match after sweeping Fairfield (25-16, 25-18, 25-17) and NC State (25-18, 25-15, 25-21) to advance to its 12th-straight Sweet 16. The Longhorns own the second-longest winning streak in NCAA Division I.
• In the two tournament matches, four Longhorns recorded double-digit kills in the matches combined, all hitting .262 or better. UT earned a .381 to .127 hitting advantage and outblocked its opponents, 18.5 to 3.0.
• Texas has a fifth-highest all-time mark in blocks/set and a sixth-highest mark in hitting percentage.
IN ROUNDS ONE AND TWO, TEXAS...
• ...recorded two sweeps for a tenth time in program history, improving to a .863 winning percentage in sets played.
• ...held both opponents to hitting percentages below .150, allowing only three blocks across the two matches.
• ...recorded improved statistics in kills per set and hitting percentage. Texas has done so seven out of eight times reaching the Final Four under Jerritt Elliott.
IN THE SWEET 16, TEXAS HAS...
• ...been undefeated through 11 matches since 2006 under Jerritt Elliott, and is 11-1 overall with Elliott at the helm.
• ...posted an .833 winning percentage (5-1) away from Gregory Gym.
IN THE ELITE EIGHT, TEXAS HAS...
• ...been undefeated through five-consecutive matches since 2012, with three wins against top 10 teams in that span.
• ...only ever been taken to five sets in victory once, with four sweeps and seven wins in four sets.
• ...posted a 3-2 record (.600) vs. top 10 teams away from Gregory Gym.
INDIVIDUALS
• Shook leads Texas with 1,063 assists and is ranked as having the sixth-highest assists/set in Texas history, ahead of 2016 assist leader Chloe Collins.
• Texas' all-time leader for block assists, Ogbogu's blocks/set season mark is the second-highest in program history, while she is seventh-highest for total blocks.
• Cat McCoy became Texas' all-time leader for digs, while her season digs/set mark currently ranks as the highest in program history, alongside the ninth-highest total digs mark.
• Freshman Lexi Sun is the third Texas freshman in the last ten years to record over 300 kills in a debut season.
