Post-Tournament Comments
Head Coach Ryan Murphy
On the overall tournament: I thought it was a good week. We had an opportunity to get in the top-eight. We knew we needed to have a good day today, not necessarily a great day, we knew we had to play solid. But it's a very demanding golf course, and we just weren't able to get it going today. Overall, I'm pleased with our finish, I think that's a good showing. There are a lot of teams that would have loved to have been here.
On the seniors: We are going to miss Julia and Haley. Julia might be the first person ever to play in every tournament at Texas, which is extraordinary. We are going to miss both of their personalities, great attitudes, and the people that they are.
On the freshmen: Our freshmen Emilee and Greta really rounded us out, they made us the team that we are. They're great freshmen. They brought a great energy to our team, a lot of confidence. They both have had great seasons, but neither one of them is satisfied with what they have produced. Both of them will be All-Americans before they are done at Texas.
On Sophia Schubert: Sophia had a spectacular season. She is an All-American candidate this year. She has been consistent from start to finish this season. This week, she got a top-40, which is a good finish here. Overall, she really elevated her game in the spring, she had a lot of great finishes. She would have liked to get a little more out of this week, but it was good.
