No. 8 Volleyball takes down Oklahoma at home, 3-0

AUSTIN, Texas - No. 8 Texas Volleyball defeated Oklahoma, 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-23) at Gregory Gym Saturday afternoon to improve to 14-5 overall and 9-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
Junior Micaya White led Texas with 13 kills (.344) on 32 swings with only two errors. White also added nine digs and one service ace.
Freshman Logan Eggleston also finished with double-digit kills with 10 (.227), also with two aces, one block, and one dig.
Freshman Sydney Petersen led the Longhorns with 13 digs for her 15th match with double-digit digs this season.
Sophomore Ashley Shook had 31 assists, seven digs, and four kills (.571).
Freshman Brionne Butler recorded seven kills and three blocks, while freshman Logan Eggleston finished with 10 kills.
Senior Yaazie Bedart-Ghani had five kills and team-high four blocks. Senior Morgan Johnson added three kills and three blocks.
Juniors Claire Hahn and Autumn Rounsaville had four and two digs, respectively.
Texas will stay home to face Texas Christian University on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. CT. The match will be televised on the Longhorn Network.
