No. 6 Volleyball defeats TCU, 3-1

Senior Yaazie Bedart-Ghani and junior Micaya White led Texas with double-digit kills.
AUSTIN, Texas - No. 6 Texas Volleyball defeated Texas Christian University, 3-1 (25-13, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23) at Gregory Gym Wednesday night to improve to 15-4 overall and 10-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
Junior Micaya White led Texas with 17 kills (.273), while also adding five digs and five blocks.
Senior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani also finished with double-digit kills with 14 kills (.480) on 25 swings with only two errors. Bedart-Ghani also had four digs and four blocks.
Freshman Sydney Petersen led the Longhorns with 11 digs for her 16th match with double-digit digs this season. Junior Autumn Rounsaville added nine digs, while junior Claire Hahn posted eight.
Sophomore Ashley Shook had 23 assists while freshman Jhenna Gabriel had 22 assists. They had six and three digs, respectively.
Freshman Logan Eggleston contributed nine kills and four digs. Freshman Brionne Butler recorded eight kills, eight blocks, and five digs.
Texas has a break before facing Kansas State at home on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. CT. The match will be televised on the Longhorn Network.
