The match marked the fourth of four-straight home matches for the Longhorns (Oklahoma, TCU, Kansas State, Kansas). In those matches, Texas has hit .325 and held its opponents to a .186 clip. The Longhorns have only lost two sets and have out-served their opponents with 20 aces to 12.

-Texas has the nation's fourth-best hitting percentage (.299) behind BYU, Stanford, and Minnesota, and tied with Pittsburgh. Three Longhorns sit inside the top-100, led by Butler (.373, No. 36), Johnson (.346, No. 79), and Bedart-Ghani (.338, No. 97). All three of those numbers fall in the top-10 of Texas all-time career hitting percentage.
-Johnson posted a career-best hitting percentage against Kansas on Wednesday with 9 kills on 11 swings and no errors for a .818 clip. That number is the highest of any Longhorn this season (5+ kills).
-Texas is on a seven-match winning streak, having just completed a four-match homestand. During the streak, the Longhorns have hit .325 as a team, with all top-five hitters hitting .230 or better (White 101 kills, .313; Bedart-Ghani 73 kills, .371; Eggleston 66 kills, .230; Butler 49 kills, .379; Johnson 46 kills, .385).
