No. 5 Volleyball sweeps Kansas State at home

AUSTIN, Texas - No. 5 Texas Volleyball swept Kansas State, 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-19) at Gregory Gym on Wednesday night to improve to 16-4 overall and 11-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
Freshman Jhenna Gabriel led the Longhorns with 31 assists while adding four digs in her first career start at Texas.
Junior Micaya White led Texas with double-digit kills with 13 (.323). White also had nine digs and one block.
Senior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani finished with nine kills on 13 swings (.692), while also contributing one dig and one block. Senior Morgan Johnson had six kills on 10 swings (.400) and two blocks.
Freshman Logan Eggleston had six kills, three digs, and one block, while freshman Brionne Butler finished contributed five kills, four digs, and two blocks.
Junior Claire Hahn led Texas with 10 digs and also had one assist. Freshman Sydney Petersen had nine digs and two assists, while junior Autumn Rounsaville had six digs and one assist.
Texas faces Kansas at home on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. CT. The match will be televised on the Longhorn Network.
