- Junior forward Cyera Hintzen has become the ONLY Longhorns player to ever score five goals over the first four matches of a season. Kylie Doniak (2011), Kelly Wilson (2004) and Carol Finch (1996, 1995) had previously totaled four goals over UT's first four matches of a season.
- The Longhorns hold a 2-0 series advantage over Sunday's opponent Stephen F. Austin. UT is 1-0 against the LadyJacks in Austin and have never allowed a single SFA goal, outscoring them over the two-match series, 6-0.
- With a goal during Thursday's victory over Long Beach State, junior forward Cyera Hintzen scored in her fourth consecutive match to begin 2018. The Garland, Texas, native is now just one match from tying the school single-season record for scoring in consecutive contests held by Niki Arlitt (Sept. 14-28, 2007).
- With Thursday's win, the 2018 Longhorns are off to the third-best four-match start in school history. The best five- and six-match openings in school annals belong to the 2017 Longhorns team and were established on the way to a perfect 11-0 start.
- Texas has scored first in all four of its matches during the 2018 campaign, and the Longhorns haven't trailed for even a single second over 382:38 of playing time so far this season. In fact, Texas has scored first in 20 of its last 25 total matches dating back to the start of 2017.
- After going just 2-8 during one-goal matches during the 2016 season, the Longhorns since have turned around their fortunes in such contests by going a remarkable 13-3 over their last 16 one-goal matches since beginning 2017 and are 2-0 in 2018.
- Texas freshman midfielder Julia Grosso received a call-up to the Canadian Senior Women's National Team for a Sept. 2 friendly against Brazil in Ottawa, Ontario, and will not be available for the Longhorns on Sunday against Stephen F. Austin.
- Texas has won its last 11 non-conference home matches, dating back to a 1-0 defeat against No. 19 California on Sept. 4, 2016, and 11 of its last 13 home contests overall (11-1-1).

- Junior goalkeeper Nicole Curry's career goals-against-average of 0.72 is currently the lowest mark in school history, 0.12 ahead of standout UT net minder Abby Smith's career GAA of 0.84 (2012-15).
- With her 93rd-minute "golden goal" vs. No. 23 UCF (Aug. 24), junior forward Cyera Hintzen registered her eighth career match-winning score. The Garland, Texas, native now owns eight match-winners over her 17 career goals, meaning that 47% of the time she's scored, it has been to win a contest.
- Junior forward Cyera Hintzen currently leads the Big 12 with five goals in 2018, has equaled the school career record for "golden goals" with three and owns five career goals in the 82nd minute or later in a match (all five have been match-winners!).
