• The game will kickoff at 3:30 CT and be televised on FOX. Joe Davis (play-by-play), Brady Quinn (analyst) and Bruce Feldman (sideline) will have the call.
• The Longhorn IMG Radio Network broadcast with Craig Way (play-by-play), Roger Wallace (analyst) and Quan Cosby (sideline) can be heard on Sirius, XM and app channel 83 in addition to the local affiliates listed on page two.
• The Longhorns' Spanish language radio broadcast, Cadena Deportiva, can be heard in Austin and Dallas, or online at TexasSports.com. Dr. Rubén Pizarro-Silva (play-by-play) and Jesus Mendoza (analyst) are on the call.
• Longhorn Network's broadcast begins at 1:30 with Texas GameDay. The two-hour pregame show will feature interviews, stories and analysis surrounding Saturday's game. After the game, LHN broadcasts Texas GameDay Final, with postgame interviews, analysis and highlights.
• Both programs enter at 2-1 overall. The Longhorns are coming off a decisive 37-14 victory over No. 22/21 USC on Saturday at home, while TCU fell to No. 4 Ohio State, 40-28, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
• Saturday's game against USC was played in front of a DKR - Texas Memorial Stadium record crowd of 103,507 fans. It surpassed the previous record of 102,315 to watch the Longhorns defeat Notre Dame to begin the 2016 season.
• The victory was a milestone for Texas, as it was their 900th all-time win. UT is just the third FBS program to reach 900 victories, joining Michigan and Ohio State. The 900th win came in Texas' 1,300th all-time varsity contest.
• Saturday's game marks the beginning of conference play for both teams. UT is 17-5 (.773) in its previous 22 Big 12 opening games.
• The 2018 season marks just the third time in the last nine seasons that Texas will start conference play at home. The Longhorns are 14-8 (.636) all-time in their first home Big 12 game.
The All-time Series
• Texas and TCU meet for the 89th time in program history, with UT holding a 62-25-1 advantage over the Horned Frogs.
• The Longhorns own a record of 33-14-1 all-time against TCU in Austin.
• Texas looks to snap a four-game losing streak to TCU. The Longhorns' last victory over TCU at home came in 2007, a 34-13 win.
• UT won 24 straight over TCU from 1968-91, but TCU's current four-game streak is tied for their longest ever against the Longhorns.
A Milestone Victory
• Texas' 37-14 win over USC on Saturday night marked the Longhorns' 900th win all-time. They joined Michigan and Ohio State as the only programs in FBS history to reach that milestone.
• It was particularly fitting for the Longhorns, whose 800th victory also came against USC in the 2006 Rose Bowl.
• A full listing of Texas' all-time milestone wins can be found on page 7 of the game notes.
A Record Crowd
• A school-record crowd of 103,507 watched Texas run away from USC inside Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
Block Party
• True freshman Caden Sterns blocked a USC field goal attempt on Saturday night, and senior Anthony Wheeler scooped it up and ran 46 yards for a touchdown.
• It marked just the third blocked field goal returned for a touchdown in school history.
• Poona Ford blocked a field goal last season against Maryland that Holton Hill returned for a touchdown. Prior to that, it had been 188 games, since 2002, when it had first happened.
Stopping The Run
• Texas' rush defense has been stout under Todd Orlando. After ranking eighth nationally in 2017 (106.8 ypg), UT ranks 29th currently, allowing just 109.0 ypg.
• The Longhorns held USC to minus-5 rushing yards in Saturday's victory. That came on 16 attempts (-0.3 ypc).
• That mark was the 24th-best effort in school history, and the best since holding Texas Tech to minus-14 yards in 2010.
Ehlinger By The Numbers
• True sophomore Sam Ehlinger passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another for the second straight week on Saturday against USC.
• Ehlinger is the first Longhorn QB since Colt McCoy in 2008 to have at least two TD passes and one rushing TD in consecutive games.
• He has now passed for 2,638 yards in his career and is just 153 yards shy of catching his Westlake High School head coach, Todd Dodge (2,791 from 1982-85) for 15th on UT's all-time career passing yards list.
