No. 4 Volleyball sweeps West Virginia in Morgantown

Junior Micaya White and freshman Brionne Butler led Texas with double-digit kills.
MORGANTOWN, W.V. - No. 4 Texas Volleyball swept West Virginia (25-18, 25-15, 25-19) to improve to 8-3 on the season and 3-0 in the Big 12 on Saturday afternoon at WVU Coliseum.
Freshman Brionne Butler finished with 10 kills (.533), six digs, and five blocks. Junior Micaya White added 14 kills (.435), three digs, and one block.
Freshman Logan Eggleston contributed nine kills (.333) and three blocks, while freshman Katarina Luketic had six kills (.333) and one block.
Sophomore Ashley Shook recorded 35 assists, four digs, and three blocks. Senior Morgan Johnson added five kills (.417) and five blocks.
Freshman Sydney Petersen led the Longhorns with 13 digs.
The Longhorns will face TCU on the road in Forth Worth, Texas on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. CT. The match will be televised on ESPNU.
