Men's Diving goes 1-2-3 in the 1-meter competition

Jordan Windle records a score of 402.15 to claim the title.
AUSTIN, Texas - On day one of the Texas Diving Invitational, Texas took the top three spots in the 1-meter diving competition on Thursday evening. Junior Jordan Windle took the top spot with a final score of 402.15, followed by Jacob Cornish in second (354.90), and Andrew Harness in third (353.25).
All five Longhorns competing in the event moved on to the finals that took place on Thursday evening at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
Texas got off to a great start and at the end of two rounds freshman Andrew Harness was in the lead.
After a huge third round by Windle, the junior took over the top spot and never relinquished it. From there it was smooth sailing for the Longhorns with Windle, Cornish, and Harness maintaining the top three for the rest of the night.
The Longhorns will return to action on Friday, Nov. 22 at 2:00 p.m. for the 3-meter prelim on day two of the Texas Diving Invitational.
