Texas diving wins combined team title at USA Winter Championships

Three Longhorns will represent Team USA at World Cup
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Texas diving squad took home the combined team National Championship title on Sunday afternoon at the 2019 USA Diving Winter Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The combined team score was 172.50 after both the men (104.50) and women (68.00) took second.
On the women's side, Alison Gibson took second in the 3M competition with a score of 954.90. She joins Texas Ex Murphy Bromberg on the Team USA at the Wold Cup. Bromberg took home the women's platform title on Saturday.
On the men's side, Jordan Windle took second in the men's platform competition. Windle scored a 1434.05 over the entirety of the event. He also will represent Team USA at the World Cup.
Texas also saw Jacob Cornish finish in seventh on the platform with a score of 1145.75 and Andrew Harness came in 12th with a score of 987.85.
The Texas divers will be back in action on January 31 as they team back up with the Texas swimmers to take on Arizona State.
