- The No. 2 University of Texas women's golf team will make its 28th all-time NCAA Championship appearance and its fourth consecutive when it travels to Fayetteville, Ark., to participate in the 2019 edition of the event May 17-22 at the par-73, 6,473-yard Blessings Golf Club.
- Format: Each team will participate in three 18-hole rounds of stroke play [Friday, Saturday, Sunday]. The top-15 teams after 54 holes will advance to a fourth round of stroke play on Monday. The top-eight teams after Monday's round qualify for match play. The quarterfinals and semifinals will take place on Tuesday with the NCAA Championship on Wednesday.
- How They Got Here: Top-seeded Texas won the NCAA Norman Regional by nine strokes at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla. It marked the first regional victory in program history. Texas carded a nine-under-par three-round total of 855 [287-281-287], which tied for the 10th-best 54-hole total in school history.
- NCAA History: Texas is making its 28th all-time appearance in the NCAA Championship and fourth consecutive. The Longhorns tied for 12th at the 2018 NCAA Championship, marking the program's best finish since 2004. Texas' best-ever finish at the NCAA Championship is second, achieved in 1993 and 2002. UT's last top-10 showing came in 2004 [tied for sixth].
- High Five: Texas has notched five victories in 2018-19, making this year's Longhorns just the third team in program history to win five or more tournaments in a single season. The school record is six wins in 1987-88. The 1992-93 Longhorns also earned five victories.
- Since the start of the 2017-18 season, Texas has earned eight team wins and posted 19 top-five finishes in 24 events during that span.
- The Longhorns already this season have broken the school records for best 18-hole team score [272] and best 54-hole team score [824].
