No. 1 Volleyball sweeps No. 13 Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. – No. 1 Texas Volleyball cruised to a resounding 3-0 win, 25-15, 25-16, 25-16, over No. 13 Kansas State on Saturday night at Bramlage Coliseum.
Logan Eggleston led all players with 17 kills, while adding four digs, three blocks and one ace. Brionne Butler finished with 10 kills and four blocks, while hitting .562 in the match. Skylar Fields added eight kills, two digs and one block. Asjia O'Neal had seven kills and led the team with seven blocks.
Jhenna Gabriel finished with 37 assists and added five digs. Morgan O'Brien led the team with 10 digs and Nalani Iosia added nine digs.
A night after playing their first five-set match of the season, the Longhorns jumped out to a fast start in all three sets on Saturday.
The Longhorns will return home to host Texas Tech for back-to-back matches on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Frank Erwin Center.
