Women’s Golf concludes stroke play at East Lake Cup

The Longhorns finished fourth in stroke play, shooting 13-over as a team on Monday.
ATLANTA – The Texas women's golf team finished fourth during Monday's stroke play portion of the East Lake Cup at the East Lake Golf Club.
Sophie Guo was Texas' top individual finisher, finishing tied for third after shooting a 1-under 71. Guo made five birdies in her round, including three over her final five holes. Behind her, Kaitlyn Papp tied for 13th (73, +3), while Bentley Cotton (78, +5), Hailee Copper (79, +6) and Ashley Park (81, +9) placed 17th, 18th and 20th, respectively.
The Longhorns return to action on Tuesday with the first round of match play, where Texas will face off with Ole Miss beginning at 10 a.m. CT. Golf Channel will again have live coverage of all the action at East Lake from 2-5 p.m. CT.
