Women's Golf No. 2 in final Golfweek ranking of 2019-20

The Longhorns finished among Golfweek's top-10 for the third consecutive season.
The Texas women's golf team finished the 2019-20 season at No. 2 in the Golfweek Women's Team Collegiate Rankings, it was announced Monday. Two Longhorns also finished among the top-10 individually in the Golfweek rankings.
This marks the second consecutive season in which Texas has finished among the top-five nationally in the final Golfweek rankings and it's the Longhorns' third consecutive top-10 finish.
In 2019-20, Texas won three tournaments and placed among the top-five in each of the seven events in which it participated. The Longhorns were ranked as the nation's No. 1 team for the majority of the season. This year's squad carded seven of the top-20 team rounds in program history and three of the top-four rounds relative to par in school annals. Additionally, Texas charted three of the top-five 54-hole team totals in school history.
Individually, junior Kaitlyn Papp finished the season ranked fifth according to the Golfweek rankings, while freshman Sophie Guo ranked sixth nationally.
