Women’s Golf’s Hsu and Heo named CSC Academic All-District honorees

Hsu and Heo recognized for academic and athletic achievements.
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas women's golf's Cindy Hsu and Angela Heo were named College Sport Communicators Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday.
Cindy Hsu is now a two-time honoree and Angela Heo earns the honor for the first time in her career at Texas.
Heo graduated this spring with a degree in sport management and carried a 3.83 GPA, while Hsu graduated with a degree in Physical Culture and Sports with a 3.62 GPA.
Hsu earned Second Team All-American honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association and Golfweek following the 2026-27 season.
Hsu recently turned pro, but was ranked No. 25 on the World Amateur Golf Rankings list and finished in 11thplace at the 2026 SEC Championship. Hsu earned her first collegiate victory in the fall at the Nanea Invitational with a tournament score of 10-under. Hsu has four top-five finishes on the season as she finished runner-up at the Betsy Rawls Invitational and in third place at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge. Hsu competed at the Augusta National Women's Amateur and the World Amateur Team Championship. Hsu finished in third place at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional.
Heo competed for Texas in 11 tournament this season and started the season with a T10 finish at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. Heo finished in 13th place at the Longhorns home tournament, the Betsy Rawls Invitational. She competed as an individual and won medalist honors in the Put Me In Coach Invitational in the fall season.
