- The No. 1 Texas women's golf team travels to Hilton Head, S.C., this weekend to participate in the ninth-annual Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The 54-hole event on the par-71, 6,266-yard course features 18 holes each day. Play will begin at 7:30 a.m. CT on Friday and Saturday and 7 a.m. CT on Sunday. The Longhorns competed in the inaugural event in 2012.
- The 17-team field features 11 top-25 teams and four top-10 teams, including No. 1 Texas, No. 4 Duke, No. 6 South Carolina and No. 7 Wake Forest.
- The Longhorns are the nation's unanimous No. 1 team, earning the top spot in the Golfstat rankings, the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings and the WGCA Coaches Poll.
- Texas has three wins in its six tournaments so far this season, capturing the team title at the Schooner Fall Classic, the Betsy Rawls Invitational and the White Sands Invitational. Dating back to the start of the 2017-18 campaign, the Longhorns have 12 team victories during that span.
- The Longhorns are 73-7 [.913] against their opponents this season, including a 28-5 mark against foes ranked in the top-25 at the time of competition.
- Texas boasts two of the nation's top-three golfers according to the latest Golfweek rankings as Sophie Guo is No. 2 and Kaitlyn Papp is No. 3.
- Sophomore Hailee Cooper and senior Emilee Hoffman are among 72 golfers selected to participate in the prestigious second-annual Augusta National Women's Amateur April 1-4 at Augusta National.
- Junior Kaitlyn Papp has been selected to represent the United States team at the Arnold Palmer Cup for the third consecutive year.
