No. 2 Women's Swim Close Out Minnesota Invite

MINNEAPOLIS – No. 2 Texas women's swim and Anna Elendt closed out the four-day meet at the Minnesota Invitational with a win in the 200-yard breaststroke at the Jean K Freeman Aquatics Center.
The sophomore led the way from start to finish on the final day of competition, posting the fastest time in the prelims at 2:07.96. She surged past the competition with her time of 2:06.21, finishing three seconds before Letitia Sim in second.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Freshman Erica Sullivan finished second in the 1650-yard freestyle with her time of 16:03.49. Evie Pfeifer finished third with a time of 16:07.69
• Julia Cook placed fourth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:54.01.
• Kyla Leibel finished with a time of 49.44, while Bridget Semenuk comes in at 49.51 in the 100-yard free B-finals.
• Longhorns posted three in the top-five in the 200-yard butterfly. Kelly Pash posted the top time at 1:52.69, with Emma Sticklen in at 1:53.15 and Olivia Bray in fourth with her time of 1:53.22.
