Women’s Golf wraps 2021 ICON Invitational

The Longhorns finished 10th as a team at 10-over par.
HUMBLE, Texas – The Texas Women's Golf team finished 10th at the ICON Invitational after firing a 10-over 874 over three rounds of competition at the Golf Club of Houston this week.
Ashley Park, competing as an individual was the top Longhorn on the individual leaderboard. She tied for 16th at 1-under par. She opened the week with a 76 in Monday's first round, but shot a 4-under 68 in Monday's second round and a 1-under 71 on Tuesday.
Sophie Guo and Sara Kouskova were the top two Texas scorers' in the Longhorns' lineup this week. Guo finished tied for 19th at an even-par 216, while Kouskova tied for 26th at 1-over. Guo fired a 2-under 70 on Tuesday to get herself back to even par and into the top 20. Kouskova's best round was her second one on Monday, where she too fired a 2-under 70.
The Longhorns will be off from competition next week and return to the course at the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. on March 8-9. Live results will be available throughout the tournament on Golfstat.com.
