No. 5 Volleyball sweeps TCU again

FORT WORTH, Texas – No. 5 Texas Volleyball completed the regular season with a 3-0 sweep of TCU, 25-23, 25-17, 25-21, at Schollmaier Arena on Friday. The Longhorns will head into the NCAA Tournament with a 23-1 overall record and a 16-0 Big 12 mark.
Logan Eggleston led the Longhorns with 17 kills and 11 digs, while also adding four blocks. Skylar Fields finished second on the team with 11 kills. Asjia O'Neal had five kills and five blocks and Brionne Butler had five kills with three blocks. Adhu Malual chipped in four kills and six blocks in her first start of the season.
Jhenna Gabriel dished out 35 assists and added five digs. Morgan O'Brien had six digs and two service aces, while Nalani Iosia had five digs.
The Longhorns and Horned Frogs played very close sets in the first and third but managed to hang on for the win.
Texas will learn their NCAA Tournament draw on Sunday, April 4 during the selection show, which will be broadcast on ESPNU at 3 p.m. CT.
