AUSTIN, Texas – No. 2 Texas Baseball assistant coach Troy Tulowitzki has been named to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team staff for July 2021.
This year's Collegiate team will feature 48 of the top non-draft-eligible collegiate players in the country on two 24-man rosters, the Stars and Stripes, for an 11-game tour of intrasquad games.
Tulowitzki will be a member of the Stripes staff, managed by American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Famer Jerry Weinstein.
A Collegiate National team alum, Tulowitzki helped lead the USA to the gold medal at the 2004 FISU World University Championships in Tainan, Taiwan.
Tulowitzki has been with the Texas Baseball coaching staff for two seasons, helping the Longhorns to a combined 62-19 record during that span. This season, the Longhorns won the Big 12 regular season title and earned the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
