Women’s Golf tied for fourth after second round of Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. — The No. 8 University of Texas Women's Golf team shot a 1-over par round and are 1-over for the tournament and tied for fourth-place after two rounds at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
Host Stanford leads the tournament at 11-under par. San Jose State is in the second position at 4-under par and Iowa State rounds out the top three at even par.
Freshman Angela Heo led Texas for the second straight day as she carded a 2-under 69 and is 4-under par for the tournament and tied for second-place on the individual leaderboard.
The Longhorns will tee off in the final round shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. CT on Sunday.
The Lineup
• Angela Heo carded three birdies and eagled the par-5 seventh hole in the second round of the tournament.
• Cindy Hsu shot 1-over 72 for the second straight round. Hsu double bogeyed her first hole of the day, but came back with two birdies over her next three holes get back on track. Hsu is tied for 28th on the player leaderboard.
• Sophie Guo had three birdies on her first nine holes and shot a 3-over 74 for the second round. Guo is also tied for 28th on the individual leaderboard.
• Bohyun Park made two birdies on her way to a 1-over 72 and is tied for 36th for the tournament.
• Bentley Cotton recovered from three bogeys on her first nine holes and carded three birdies on her second nine to shoot a 1-over 72. Cotton is tied for 46th for the tournament.
