Men's Swimming & Diving takes down TCU, 180-95

Five Longhorns each win a pair of individual events.
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas men's swimming and diving team outdid Big 12 foes TCU 180-95 to open the 2022-23 season on Friday night.
The Longhorns took down the Horned Frogs at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center with 12 event wins, with multiple Texas athletes claiming multiple individual wins.

Freshman Nick Harris opened the day winning the 1-meter springboard with a score of 339.38 in his burnt orange debut.
The A relay team of Ethan Harder, Will Chan, Holden Smith and Pete Larson claimed the first swim event in the 400-yard medley relay with their time of 3:11.73.
Freshman Alec Enyeart won his first event of the day in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 8:50.62. Enyeart was the lone competitor to crack nine minutes and finished 18 seconds ahead of second place. He later added a win in the 500-yard free with his time of 4:19.61.
Harder later won the 50-yard back with his time of 22.22, while claiming the 200-yard back at 1:44.82.
Chan had a solid debut as a Longhorn, winning the 50-yard breast and 200-yard breast with a time of 24.31 and 1:59.88.
Larson continued the hot streak with a win in the 50-yard free at 20.18 and the 200-yard free with a time of 1:37.10.
Sam Artmann outreached his teammate in the 200-yard fly, winning with a time of 1:46.22 and added a 50-yard fly win with a time of 21.74.
