Waesch heads to the Forty Acres after spending three seasons in a majority holding midfielder role at Auburn. During the Tigers' 2022 campaign, Waesch started all 18 matches, totaling 1,576 minutes on the pitch while helping limit opponents to a single goal or less in 17-of-18 contests.
As a sophomore in 2021, she started all 20 matches and played all 90 minutes as a holding midfielder in 17-of-20 contests, including every possible minute during AU's Southeastern Conference slate. Along the way, Waesch tallied her second career goal in a 2-1 win over Troy and was named to Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week for her efforts in victories over UAB and Chattanooga.
During the 2020-21 split COVID-19 season, Waesch scored her first collegiate goal in a win over Kennesaw State and started the final 15 matches of the year (played in 18) on the way to earning Auburn's Barbara Camp Unsung Hero award, presented to the player who was crucial to the performance of the team but went under the radar. Off the pitch, Waesch proved her ability in the classroom by earning SEC Academic Honor Roll (2020-21) and Athletic Director's Honor Roll (2021-22) accolades.
In her lone season (2016) playing for head coach Tommy Ray at The Colony H.S. prior to entering the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, Waesch scored 13 goals and dished 16 assists for 42 total points on the way to earning first-team all-district and midfielder of the year honors. She was also the only freshman ever named varsity captain in program history.
Another member of the high-profile Solar Soccer Club, Waesch was listed as both a four-star recruit and the No. 26 player in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer after totaling 119 points on 32 goals and 55 assists (104 matches). A United Soccer Coaches All-South Region selection, she captained the Solar U17 squad to a 37-1-1 record and the 2019 USSDA National Championship as well as the Solar U15 team to the 2017 ECNL Championship Final. Internationally, Waesch was selected for the U.S. Soccer 2019 Women's U18 National Team Training Camp in Bradenton, Fla.
