Bijan Robinson had a career day with 243 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Texas junior running back Bijan Robinson rushed for a career-high 243 yards and four touchdowns to lead Texas past Kansas, 55-14. The Longhorns improved to 7-4 on the season and 5-3 in Big 12 play. Robinson brought his career total to 3,231 rushing yards, tied for fifth on Texas' all-time rushing list with Chris Gilbert.
KEY STATISTICS
- Texas took a 7-0 lead on a 2-yard rushing touchdown by Robinson on the second drive of the game.
- The Longhorns started their next drive at the KU 28-yard line following an Xavier Worthy 22-yard punt return, scoring two plays later on a 17-yard touchdown run by Robinson to make the score 14-0.
- Bert Auburn connected on a 28-yard field goal to make it a 17-0 game.
- With five minutes remaining in the first half, Keilan Robinson scored on a 7-yard touchdown reception to give Texas a 24-0 lead.
